Feedback is Gold
On today's show I'm sharing some great feedback on the French Oak of Notre Dame, some thoughts on Ebony availability and regulation, and finally the cycle of tree blights like Thousand Canker and Emerald Ash Borer. Plus I get a tiny bit editorial about CITES and the upcoming Convention Votes.

I have a hard copy of this book sitting on my desk and a copy of the PDF in my Dropbox account. Its pretty much always open.
Shannon, as I’ve said before I’m loving that you are continuing the lumber industry update! Others can chime in but I am finding the audio levels quite low, especially on this episode. The theme song at the beginning is a normal level but then it drops when you start speaking. It’s to the point where I need to turn it up to about twice the level as other podcasts such as woodtalk and making it, and also to the point of being heart stoppingly loud when the podcast ends and something else starts playing or if I start the car again and another audio source is selected. Hopefully it’s something that’s easily fixed. Thanks again! -Jeremy
I’ll look into it. I do some post production mixing and it sounds great on my laptop but I have heard that in a car it sounds bass heavy. Regardless I’m working on it. I don’t have Marc around to do my dirty work anymore. On WoodTalk Matt and I just got to show up in the green room with our fresh flowers and expensive artesian waters and Jordan almonds. Now I have to do the donkey work too. Thanks for the input
